Pickens County Sheriff's Office Press Release

 

 

Sheriff David Abston reports that the following individuals were arrested and booked into the Pickens County Jail for the week of January 19, 2014 through January 25, 2014.

 

 

Travis Blacwell of Reform Oakman, Alabama was arrested by the Gordo Police Department for Possession of Forged Instruments and Attempting to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime.

 

Jesse Chaney of Hartselle, Alabama was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st.

 

Gregory Dotson of Nauvoo, Alabama was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st.

 

Edward Doughty of Carrollton was arrested by the Carrollton Police Department and Pickensville Police Department for Forgery 2nd.

 

Jonathan Elmore of Gordo was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st.

 

Marie Elmore of Gordo was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st.

 

Tenisha Johnson of Tuscaloosa was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for Negotiating Worthless Instruments.

 

Hubert Latham of Columbus, Mississippi was arrested by the Carrollton Police Department for Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Driving Under the Influence.

 

Rodrick Murry of Gordo was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals for Unlawful Sale of Controlled Substance Near a School.

 

Brian Roberts of Gordo was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for Possession of Forged Instruments 1st.

 

Christopher Schultz of Oakman, Alabama was arrested by the Gordo Police Department for Possession of Forged Instruments and Attempting to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime.

 

Julian Schultz of Oakman, Alabama was arrested by the Gordo Police Department for Bond Revocation, Possession of Forged Instruments and Attempting to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime.

 

Johnny Smith of Reform was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office for Violation of the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act.

 

Courtney White of Northport was arrested by the Gordo Police Department for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

John Young Jr. of Reform was arrested by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and the 24th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force for Unlawful Sale of Controlled Substance Near a School.

 

 

WANTED:  The following individuals are wanted by the Pickens County Sheriff's Office.  If you have any information concerning their whereabouts please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 205-367-2000.

 

 

Patrick Levil Billups of Aliceville is wanted for Negotiating Worthless Instruments.

 

Stephanie McCleod of Gordo is wanted for 10 counts of Negotiating Worthless Instruments.

 

Veronica Gardner of Marion, Alabama is wanted for Negotiating Worthless Instruments.

 

Frederick Hall of Berry, Alabama is wanted for Failure to Appear on Charges of Burglary 3rd, Theft of Property 3rd and Attempt to Elude.

 

 

 

Pickens County Sheriff's Office and Jail has entered a new construction phase and parking around the Sheriff's Office will be limited.  Anyone coming for inmate visitation is asked to use the public parking lot behind the Pizza Doctor.  Designated "Handicap Parking" is available directly in front of the Sheriff's Office.

 

 

Pickens County Sheriff’s Office asks Pickens County residents to call 911 immediately whenever they see suspicious vehicles or people in your communities.
